Fight scars, hyperpigmentation and acne

We know very well that acne can be a real problem , but that's not all. After repeated acne breakouts , it is common to observe scars , marks and hyperpigmentation on the face. And this is not inevitable since it is never too late to fade them as much as possible , or even make them disappear . Here are a handful of tips to help you feel good in your body and in your skin .

Cleaning

Regular cleansing is essential to remove dead skin on a daily basis and activate blood circulation , promoting cell renewal and thus the disappearance of scars .

If you can, opt for a 2-step cleaning process , double cleaning .

This technique will allow you to get rid of all impurities without irritating your skin to reduce inflammation and make your skin clearer over time.

Regular exfoliation

After the (double) cleansing step , exfoliate 1 to 2 times a week .

Choose enzymatic scrubs , grain-free, which do not require massage to activate their exfoliating power . In fact, by massaging your face for a prolonged period with a grain scrub , you excite your sebaceous glands and thus activate your natural sebum production . For problem skin or with a history of acne , the leave-on enzymatic scrub turns out to be the perfect option .

Good hydration

To calm inflammation and limit overproduction of sebum , hydration is the key.

Indeed, if you do not sufficiently hydrate your skin , it will not feel protected from external aggressions and will therefore produce more sebum to form a protective layer , which could thus be the cause of the appearance of imperfections .

For oily skin , you can choose a moisturizing lotion over a cream, to benefit from its hydrating power without providing a texture that would be too rich for your skin .

For combination to dry skin , choose a non-occlusive and natural moisturizing cream to respect your skin while hydrating it.

The right ingredients

To avoid encouraging the appearance of new imperfections , avoid products containing occlusive ingredients such as certain vegetable oils . Also avoid cosmetics containing alcohol or perfumes as these components could dry out your skin and attack it , thus producing an overproduction of sebum .

On active acne

Use a drying product topically on your active acne to dry out only your blemishes and not your skin in general. Do not pop your pimples to avoid creating more scars on your skin.

On marked skin

Carry out a gentle peel occasionally during the year. This practice activates cell renewal and thus helps scars disappear . If you have active acne on your skin, avoid peels , these are only recommended to treat scars and not active acne.
